Our Team

Kendall Billick, MD, FRCPC, DTM&H - Director

Kendall Billick At the core of our operation is the ability to effectively assess risk and then minimize it. This ability stems from unique training opportunities.

Dr. Billick went to medical student in the United States and Israel. He then trained in Internal Medicine at the western campus of Tufts University Medical School in Massachusetts. After this, he became an Infectious Disease fellow at Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, D.C. Dr. Billick holds certification in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

After traveling around the world, Dr. Billick came back to Montreal in 2000 to be closer to family. He joined the Lakeshore General Hospital where he practices Infectious Disease and Internal Medicine. In 2006, with the support of his wife and three children, he supplemented Infectious Disease training by studying Travel and Tropical Medicine in Peru. It is there that he discovered the great potential of medical training to meet personal humanitarian goals in the developing world. This experience was a key ingredient in the foundation for Bon Séjour's philosophy.

Following this work, he earned his Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (DTM&H), certification from the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (ASTMH) and Certificate in Travel Health from the International Society of Travel Medicine (ISTM). Subsequently, Dr. Billick accepted the privilege of joining the team at the J.D. MacLean Centre for Tropical Diseases in the Montreal General Hospital where he continues to teach and practice.

With a lifelong interest in Dermatology and the observation that skin disease is the third most common problem in ill returned travellers, Dr. Billick decided to go back to school! During 2009-2010, he embarked on an intensive training course at Cardiff University in Wales following which he earned a Diploma In Practical Dermatology. This post graduate Dermatology training was combined with on-site training in the Division of Dermatology at the Jewish General Hospital for over a year. After this, he joined the Division as an Internist with a special interest in Dermatology and now takes care of patients with travel and non-travel related skin conditions in both the hospital and office setting.

Dr. Billick is recognized by the Collège des medecins du Québec as a specialist in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

Dr. Billick speaks three languages (and can manage in 2 others if you count basic sign language!) and loves living in and being a part of the West Island community!

Liliane Reinblatt

Liliane ReinblattLily is the first voice that our travellers hear when they call Bon Séjour and is central to the care we provide. Lily is dedicated and accommodating. She organizes care at three hospitals, and runs the show at Bon Séjour! We are very lucky to have her on our team!

Katia Vigny Billick

Katia Vigny BillickKatia is a lawyer by training but later decided that raising a family was her priority. With the children a little older and with Bon Séjour’s growth, Katia has accepted the position of Office Manager. She takes care of all financial and operational matters of the Travel Service and our rapidly growing Dermatology practice. Whenever the Director (who happens to be her husband) threatens to fire Katia, she threatens to hand in her resignation first!
